Country Cousins soccer finals MAPUSA (HSR) -- The finals of Country Cousins interward rolling trophy will take place on Sunday, at St Anthony's church ground, Siolim. It is being organised in memory of Eleterio Inocent Fernandes. The chief guest will be Anny Rosito Fernandes.

Country Cousins soccer finals
MAPUSA (HSR) — The finals of Country Cousins interward rolling trophy will take place on Sunday, at St Anthony’s church ground, Siolim. It is being organised in memory of Eleterio Inocent Fernandes. The chief guest will be Anny Rosito Fernandes.
The finals will be played between St Anthony’s Maina and Xetrapal Oxel. There will be a girls exhibition match at 4 p.m. between Anjuna and Siolim. At 4.45 p.m. F C Siolim Sunrise will play F C Siolim Sunset in Men v. Boys exhibition match. There will also be Michael Jackson impersonators performing to entertain the crowd.

5-a-side football at Shiroda
PANJIM (HSD) – The Foot Fighters Club, Karai-Shiroda will organise their 1st all-Goa one-day 5-a-side football tournament on August 29 near St Joseph church, Karai-Shiroda, Ponda at 10 a.m. The winners and runner-up will be awarded Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively. Major ranking TT in Panjim
PANJIM (HSD) – Panjim Gymkhana will organise their major ranking TT tournament from September 6 to 9 at Panjim Gymkhana premises for cadet boys and girls, sub-junior boys and girls and junior boys and girls. Entries may be submitted to Ashok Mahambre or Lenny Rosario. The last date for submitting entries is September 4.

Softball umpires clinic
PANJIM (HSD) – The Softball Association of India will organise the umpires clinic and gradation test for softball umpires in Chandigarh from September 7 to 11. Umpires will be awarded grades A, B and C which will be followed for Nationals. National softball players may contact G N Havaldar, GSA secretary on or before September 1 at Porvorim.

Carrom tournament
PANJIM (HSD) — Fulltim Fullam Agalli in association with Gomes Carrom Center will organise an inter-ward carrom tournament for men singles and doubles from September 1. Matches will be played on all week days from 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. Winners, runners-up will be awarded prizes. Details with Luis Gomes on 9850263227.
