PANJIM: Goa bowlers wreaked havoc as Uttar Pradesh were bowled out for paltry 42 runs to win the opening match by 9 wickets in the Senior Womens T20 League 2017/18, at Goa Cricket Association Academy, Porvorim, on Saturday.
Yetrekar Sunanda was the pick of the day as she took three wickets who was supported by Nikita Malik (2) and Shikha Pandey (1).
Uttar Pradesh’s Shobha Devi (12) was the lone batswoman with a two digit figure on the scoreboard.
Goa easily managed to chase the target with Yetrekar Sunanda (22 n.o.) and Sanjula Naik (20 n.o.) making it in just 9.3 overs.
