Dicarpale SC thump Dramapur; UC Orlim, PY Nuvem win

PANJIM: Dicarpale run riot over Dramapur SC 7-2 in the Goa Football Association Third Division League match played at Ambelim ground, on Thursday.
Deolin Carvalho was the star for the winners as the striker displayed extraordinary performance on the field to lift his side against a spirited Dramapur SC, scoring a fine hat-trick.
Deolin opened the scoring the 7th minute to give his side a perfect start. Dicarpale were up by two goals in the 18th minute when Deolin played Cindroy Furtado through on goal, and the latter showed great ball control before striking his shot straight at goal, 2-0.
Cindroy completed his brace at the half-hour mark to take the side’s tally to 3-0. Deolin, who was instrumental in all the goals so far, once again, scripted his name on the score sheet adding his second just before the break.
Changing over, it looked like Dramapur were a different side and pulled a goal back through Nigel Fernandes in the 58th minute. Dramapur enjoyed better ball possession in the second half before Deolin Carvalho completed his hat-trick in the 67th minute to pile more misery on the opponents and to kill any hopes of a late comeback, considering their performance.
However, the spirited Dramapur were not here to give in easily as they fought hard and managed to score their second through Aston Fernandes in the 70th minute.
Mark Borges and Alroy Moniz added two more for Dicarpale completing their riot.
In another match at Benaulim ground, Melbon Carvalho’s 71st minute strike proved to be the match-winner of United Club Orlim against St Anthony’s Club, Colva.
Parish Youth Nuvem registered a fluent 3-0 win over Raitura Sports Club at Raia ground.
Clarison Fernandes, Sanroy Colaco and Deinkson Dias were the scorers for the winners.

Goa United SA prevail
MAPUSA: Goa United SA eased past Kelbai Sports Club 3-0 in the Goa Football Association U-14 League match played at Poriat ground.
There was no score in the first half. But the second half turned out to be a thrilling affair as Goa United put up a strong team effort which helped them net three goals in the span of eight minutes.
Augustine Fernandes opened the scoring for the winners in the 58th minute before Raul doubled the lead at the hour mark. Raul netted his brace and scored the third in the 65th minute.
In another match played at Anjuna ground, Deepraj Gaonkar scored the only goal of the match to help Eagle SC registered a narrow one goal win over Arpora Sporting Club.

Salgaocar FC win
MARGAO: Salgaocar FC showcased their supremacy over CRC Chinchinim registering 5-0 win in the Goa Football Association U-16 League match played at Cuncolim ground.
Josewel Cardozo opened the scoring in the fifth minute and soon doubled the lead in the 7th minute before Syndrow Araujo scored in the 6th minute.
Salgaocar were up 3-0 in the seventh minute.
In the 14th minute, Sachin Rathod netted the fourth and Jordan Borges hit the final nail in the coffin.
