Goa girls face Bihar

Goa girls kick off their campaign in the 7th Sub-Junior National Football championship against Bihar at Forestry academy ground, Haldwani, Uttarakhand on Thursday. The match is expected to start at 12.30 p.m.
The Goa team arrived on Monday and settled into their accomadation with no problems. They were accompanied by coach Deggie Cardoza and manager Meena Vaz.
Bihar only turned up at the eleventh hour, late on Wednesday evening and it was only at the managers meeting that the team knew they would be playing the tie, informed Deggie. “As the Bihar team had not arrived we only practiced on Wednesday afternoon, but I am happy with the progress of my players.”
Deggie informed he will play a 4-5-1 formation.
Goa probable line-up: Cassy Dias (gk), Mabel Mascarenhas (def), Simone Lalwani (def), Riddhi Goltekar (rb), Bethany Remedios (lb), Sonali Bhomkar (mid), Nevilla Colaco (mid), Leena Gaunso (mid), Vellani Fernandes (rw), Indira Lamani (lw), Ansiva vaz (for).
