AGENCIES, PATNA: Suyash Prabhudesai helped Goa into a 60-run lead against Bihar with his maiden first-class hundred on Day 3 in the Ranji Trophy Plate Group match, at Patna, on Friday.
The right-hander had good company from skipper Amit Verma who struck 89, and through their 140-run stand the visitors grabbed the advantage from a dicey score of 175 for 5.
At stumps, Goa were 386 for six with Suyash (108) and Darshan Misal (26) at the crease.
Earlier, Aditya Kaushik (73) and Amulya Pandrekar (42) shined with the bat for the visitor while Ashutosh Aman claimed three wickets and Shivam Kumar took 2 for Bihar.
