PANJIM: Goa Medical College, Bambolim, emerged champions in Collegiate Chess (Mixed) Championship at Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies.
Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi claimed the runners-up title. Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar, finished third.

Prof Santosh Patkar, Principal, Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies, was the chief guest. Arvind Mhamal, International Arbiter along with Balachandra B. Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University were the guests of honour. They presented the trophies.
