MARGAO: Goa Police beat Holy Family, Raia, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 28-26 in an exciting finals of all-Goa volleyball tournament for Jose Pereira Trophy at St. Rita church court, Maina-Curtorim, on Monday.
MLA, Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco was the chief guest. Fr Domnic Savio Vaz was the guest of honour. Norton Mascarenhas, Stancy Arifa Fernandes, Orlando Rebello, Alstroy d’Souza, Conceicao Dias, Milagres d’Mello were the special invitees.
Goa Police claimed Rs 40,000 while Holy Family had to be content with Rs 30,000. Sidroy and Alex compered the event.
