RAIA: Goa Police down Youth Club of Manora 2-1 in the GFA’s Division I League match played at Rosary church ground, Navelim, on Saturday.
In the first session of play, both teams played an attacking brand of soccer and remained 0-0 till the half time. In second session, Mayuresh Naik opened the scoreline for Goa Police in the 55th minute with a neat placement, while Shubham Shirwaikar doubled the lead for Goa Police beating the defence line and goalkeeper in the 78th minute.
Later, in the 88th minute, Youth of Manora pulled one goal back through Rhay Joseph Dias with beautiful header from a corner kick.
