FATORDA: Ambelim Sports Club will be organising Goa Seven Premier League in association with Goa Seven’s from April 30 to May 14 at Sports Authority of Goa ground, Fatorda.
The League will witness eight teams from the professional league which are registered with GFA.
The seven a side tournament will be played on a smaller field and will battled it out for 60 minutes.
Goa Seven’s Sports and Cultural Association is formed to create and promote sporting and cultural activities in Goa and provide such platforms for our upcoming generation
Seven’s Premier League is conducted 2 times a year on a successful note and is marked in the Limca Book of Records as a most viewed rural sporting game in India. Besides it has also been awarded the best Football event in the State for 2 consecutive years
“Goa is the most favourite state in India where backdoor football is common. Every village has got football crazy fans. A place where village, beach, professional league is in the blood of all Goans. Also the trend of watching sports is changing.,” says the press note issued by GSPL.
