Goa surrender to CA?Bengal

MAPUSA: Cricket Association of Bengal clinched a comfortable seven wicket victory over Goa on the Fourth day of test match in Karnataka State Cricket Association’s (KSCA) Test tournament held in Alur, Bengaluru, on Wednesday.

MAPUSA: Cricket Association of Bengal clinched a comfortable seven wicket victory over Goa on the Fourth day of test match in Karnataka State Cricket Association’s (KSCA) Test tournament held in Alur, Bengaluru, on Wednesday.  
Overnight, Goa were trailing by 86 runs, without any loss of wickets. However, Bengal’s Saurashish Lahiri and Anit Banerjee ransacked the Goa batting order with three wickets each.
Openers Snehal Kauthankar (61) and Prathamesh Gawas (64) had given Goa a head start with a 123 run partnership but as soon as Snehal was sent back to the pavilion, wickets tumbled at regular intervals. Skipper Sagun Kamat fell for 43 although wicket-keeper Keenan Vaz played a supportive role with a respectable 54. Goa lost their last four wickets for a mere 17 runs, posting a 114 run lead.
In reply, Bengal chased the target in just 30.2 overs with seven wickets in hand.
Rohan Banerjee remained 52 not out which came from 86 balls, including six boundaries. Avilion Ghosh was the second highest scorer for Bengal with a 60 ball 40.
Amit Yadav clinched two wickets while Darshan Misal managed one.
