Goa University enter semis

Goa University booked its place in the semi-finals of all-India inter-University football (men) championship defeating Mizoram University 3-2 in Jabalpur.
Mizoram University opened their account in the 35th minute through Mani Kumar Singh while Goa University took the lead through Shadab Shaikh in the second half (55th and 65th), Garry D’Mello increased the tally for Goa in the 80th minute.
Earlier, in the quarters Kolkata University defeated hosts Jabalpur University 2-1. Punjab University, Patiala defeated Chennai University 1-0. Punjab University, Chandhigrah defeated University of Delhi 5-2.
