AGENCIES, BHOPAL: Goa University beat host Barkatullah University by 7 wickets in their second league encounter of the West Zone Inter University Cricket Championship for women, at Bhopal.
Goa University won the toss and decided to field. Barkatullah University were bundled out for 57 in 26 overs.
Sherya Parab 2 for 3 runs, Diksha Gaude 2 for 16 runs, Ciya Phaldesai 2 for 18 and Shindiya Naik did most of the damage.
Goa University finished off the match in a hurry by attaining the target in 8 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
Divya Naik 21 (21) and Shindiya Naik 14(11) were the top scorers.
Goa University will now face SP Pune University in the final league match.
