Pravin Naik of Goa Velha scored the first goal of the match in the 10th minute giving his team the desired lead as Varca SC struggled to get their defence on line.
In the 21st minute Goa Velha SC were awarded a penalty kick. Francis Pires made no mistake as he converted from the spot to give his team a 2-0 lead.
Columbian noronha in the 38th minute pulled a goal back for Varca SC.
Later, varca SC tried their level best to find the equaliser but failed as Goa Velha SC defence stood strong.
