PANJIM: Goa recorded a solitary goal win over Chhattisgarh in the Senior Women’s National Football Championship, held at Arunachal Pradesh, on Saturday.
After playing a goalless draw till the 86th minute, it was Karishma Shirvoikar who slammed home a perfect winner after receiving a pass from Zoizima Fernandes which was enough to give Goa full points.
Goa will play Tamil Nadu on September 17.
