PANJIM: Sarthak Shailesh Desai and Tahira Rodrigues bagged the top spots in 500m and 1000m events respectively as Goa finished in second at 5th invitational Track Speed Roller Skating championships, recently.
Sarthak bagged the gold medal in the 500m event (age group 14 to 16) while Tahira Rodrigues clinched the gold medal in the 1000m category (age group 10 to 12).
Divya Jain (age group 12 to 14) secured two silver medals while Shivam Ajay Raikar (age group 12 to 14) and Moksh Jain (age group 8-10) bagged one silver each in their respective categories. All the skaters are from RCC Fatorda, Margao and are coached by Rajesh Naik.
