PANJIM: Goan Warriors FC thrashed Rosarians XI SC 14-0 in the GFA U-20 league game played at Duler Stadium Mapusa, on Sunday.
Siddanth Shirodkar opened the scoring for Goan Warriors early in the match as he dribbled past a couple of defenders and shot past the rival keeper to give his side the desired edge in the 3rd minute itself.
Siddanth inflated the lead in the 12th minute before completing his hat-trick in the 14th minute making it 3-0 in favour of Goan Warriors.
In the 17th minute, Videsh Sawant scored for the winners and later went on to complete his hat-trick being a goal each in the 60th and 74th minutes respectively.
Diptesh Naik later netted four more goals scoring in the 23rd, 33rd, 71st and 86th minutes respectively.
Rahul Naik 29th, Pranay Gaonkar 44th, Akash Kudnekar 83rd and Nehal Parsekar 90+2 were the other goal scorers for Goan Warriors FC.
In another match played at Agassaim ground, Shree Nagesh MSCC and Goa Velha SC played out a goalless draw.
