SANGOLDA: Goan Warriors FC and Ronit SC played out a 2-2 draw in the GFA U-20 Second Division League match played at Sangolda ground, on Thursday.
Either of the teams were restricted to midfield play initially in the game as they cancelled out on eachother possession, however, Goan Warriors opened the scoring in the 44th minute through Aniket Agarwadekar.
The joy was short lived as Kishore Swami levelled terms for Ronit SC just before half time making it 1-1 at the breather.
Post resumption, Ronit SC came back strongly into the game and took the lead in the 65th minute as Dyneshwar Pednekar shot past the rival keeper, however, struck by reverse, Goan Warriors FC regrouped and equalised in the 70th minute through Sadanand Dabolkar making it 2-2.
In another match played at Sirsaim ground, Dunes SC cane from behind to hold Shree Nagesh MSCC 2-2.
Shree Nagesh MSCC led 2-0 at halftime as Rohan Adkonkar and Nilesh Narvekar netted a goal each in the 39th and 43rd minutes respectively.
Post resumption, Astle Fernandes netted a brace scoring in the 58th and 69th minutes respectively for Dunes SC to snatch a point from Shree Nagesh MSCC.
