PANJIM: Gomeco Cricket Club overcame Stamina Cricket Club by three wickets in Tiswadi ‘B’ Zone league cricket tournament organized by Goa Cricket Association, at cricket academy ground, Porvorim.
Batting first, Stamina CC scored just 105 runs which was later easily chased down by GOMECO with three wickets in hand.
Brief scores — Stamina CC: 105/10 in 30 overs (Pawan Naik 32, Sunil Naik not out 22, Siddhesh Shirodkar 19 runs. Prajyot Dholye 3/12, Nakul Mhamal 2/10, Virendra Naik 2/21, Hari Mhamal and Kiran Mistri one wicket each) lost to Gomeco: 106/7 in 27.3 overs (Hari Mhamal not out 31, Uday Talawnekar not out 25 runs.
