MAPUSA: Xetrapal SC trounced St Savio’s SC by 6-0 margin in the Goveia Cup 2023 organised by YSC Colvale at Colvale church ground, on Saturday.
In the 17th minute, Gopal Shirodkar scored with a deft placement putting Xetrapal SC 1-0 ahead. Just two minutes later, Gopal scored his brace putting Xetrapal SC colts 2-0 up.
Xetrapal SC went 3-0 ahead through Vivek Agarwadekar in the 38th minute by scoring with a neat placement.
Gopal converted a penalty in the 39th minute completing his hat-trick 4-0. Thereafter, Karish Dharghalkar and Sejal Chodankar scored to complete a 6-0 scorline.
Gopal Shirodkar of Xetrapal SC received the man-of-the-match award from Pienca Mendes.
