PANJIM: Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem emerged champions at the inter-college tennis tournament organised by Goa University, recently.
In the final, Government College Quepem outsmarted Chowgule College Margao 2-1.
Earlier, in the semi-final, they overcame the challenge from Damodar College, Margao 2-0, whereas Chowgule College, Margao outplayed Don Bosco College, Panjim 2-1. Team consisted of Niket Gaonkar (captain), Imran Mulla, Paresh Shinde and Shiddu Rahul, sports secretary.
