PANJIM: The Joseph School of Football conducted its 2nd grassroot baby league football tournament and youth development program at Caranzalem beach, recently.
It was a week-long league for kids from age group 5 years to 13 years taking part with a total matches of 37 games played. In the Sub-Juniors category, Vinay Hadimani won the first place while Ankush Mahota and Viabhav Hadimani settled for second and third places respectively.
In the Juniors category, Aditya More won the first place trophy while Maxwell D’souza and Sandeep Koli finished in second and third places respectively. Aarohi Kumari received a cash price for the highest girl scorer while Aditya More received a cash price for the highest boy scorer.
Chief guest Patricio De Souza (General Secretary of Saligao United Football Club) and police constable Harish Bhonsle (Panjim Police Station) gave away the prizes.
