Crime Branch police arrested a 28-year-old man and seized 2.332 kg of suspected ganja, worth approximately ₹2.33 lakh, during a narcotics raid at Ponocem in Honda, Sattari, on August 7.
Police identified the accused as Pritesh Dinesh Gawde, 28, from Honda, Sattari. The suspected cannabis was recovered during a search conducted under a seizure panchanama.

A case has been registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act, 1985. Gawde has been remanded to four days of police custody.
The raid was conducted by a Crime Branch team led by PI Dattaguru K. Sawant under the supervision of senior officers. Police are investigating the source and intended destination of the seized substance.
