PANJIM: Don Bosco Oratory will be the first centre to be opened under the aegis of the coordination committee of the Salcete Grassroots Football Development Programme on April 30 at Don Bosco Engineering College ground, Fatorda, at 4 p.m.
Bro. Frank will inaugurate the centre.
On May 1 the Curtorim Centre will be launched at the Curtorim ground at 8 a.m. and on the same day the Varca Centre will be opened at the Varca Sports Club ground, at 4 p.m. Nine centres are expected to be in place by May 8.
The Grassroots Football Programme is meant for boys and girls in the 8 to 10 years age group.
