GSA trounce Sarvodaya by 188 runs

Aditya Angle scored a scintillating 101 to help Goa Sports Academy defeat Sarvodaya Sports Club by 188 runs in Goa Premier League cricket tournament at Porvorim ground, on Thursday.
GSA scored 231 for 6 declared in 70.4 overs.  For GSA, Aditya topscored with 101, followed by Sardesh Pawasker 76.
In reply, Sarvodaya were 155 all out in 38.2 overs. For Sarvodaya, Ajay Ratra topscored with 42, Advant Katkar 14, Amit Veluskar 17, Ganeshraj Narvekar 10.  Sahil Dhuri claimed 6 for 86, while Kadam 3 for 9 for GSA.
In another match at Dr Rajendra Prasad stadium, a breezy 78 by Rohit Asnodkar helped Chowgule Cricket Club to settle for a draw against Salgaocar Sports Club. Resuming at an overnight score of 38 for 1, Chowgule were 194 for 4 in 76 overs in the second innings. Satish Shinde topscored with 42, followed by Amog Dessai 22.
Vidyadhar Kamat was the most successful bowler for Salgaocar scalping two wickets.
