While briefing the media during the press conference, on Saturday, President of the GSC, Francisco Nunes stated that the tournament the will be held from January 27 to 29, at Chicalim village panchayat ground.
“The first edition will be Mormugao zone and the winner and the runners-up will directly qualify for the all-Goa under-12 tournament. Each team will play for duration of 15 minutes in each half,” stated Nunes.
The winner and runner-up will be given shorts, jerseys and a pair of stockings and man-of-the-match will be awarded.
The GSC has already received 22 entries and the matches will be played in the morning. Nunes added that the final be held on January 29 which will commence with a friendly match between Mormugao Veterans and Bardez Veterans.
