MAPUSA: The Goa Football Association President Dr Caitan Fernandes showed concern to injured Guardian Angel’s goalkeeper Dikshant Betodkar by paying a visit to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, and enquiring about his wellbeing.
Immediately, the GFA president also made provisions to shift the goalkeeper to a private hospital.
Dikshant had sustained a hand fracture in the GFA’s U-15 League match played between Guardian Angel and FC Goa at Guirim ground, recently.
Speaking to O Heraldo, Guardian Angel Team Manager Oswin Rodrigues and President Johncy said they had no words to thank the GFA president by “not only showing his solidarity but being an angel and taking care of the medical treatment of goalkeeper Dikshant”.
