CURCHOREM: Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem badminton team comprising Shriyash Yarnal, Bhavnesh Gate, Anant Ambesh Khandewal, Kevin D’Costa and Pradhan Samar secured the first place in the under-14 boy’s badminton tournament for Quepem taluka, organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Quepem indoor stadium, on Monday.
Sarvodaya Education Society High School, Curchorem secured the second place while The New Educational Institute, Curchorem had to be content with the third place.
Meanwhile, in the Quepem taluka under-17 boy’s badminton category, New Educational Institute, Curchorem secured first place and Government High School, Xeldem and Sarvodaya Education Society High School, Curchorem finished in the second and third places respectively.
In the girl’s under-14 category, Chandrabhaga Tukoba Naik High School, Curchorem bagged the first place while Guardian Angel HS, Curchorem and The New Educational Institute, Curchorem secured the second and third places respectively.
