MARGAO: Guardian Angel Sports Club blanked Sporting Club of Davorlim 2-0 to march into the quarter-finals of 40th All-Goa Seamen Trophy inter-village football tournament organized by Chandor Club at Chandor ground, Saturday. There was no score at the lemon break.
Guardian Angel surged ahead in the 40th minute when striker Soccoro Colaco punished the rival goalkeeper with a clinical finish.
Spurred by the success, Guardian Angel intensified their attacks and doubled the lead when Melvito Fernandes blasted home from close range.
