RAIA: Guardian Angel SC outplayed Our Lady of Gloria SC 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st All Goa Guardian Angel Festival Soccer inter-village football tournament played at Curchorem ground, on Sunday.
Guardian Angel SC netted a brace through Venzic Fernandes in the 7th and 14th minute.
Venzic Fernandes received man-of-the-match trophy from chief guest Victor Daniel.
On Saturday, Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, defeated St Sebastian Union Club Benaulim 4-1 to move into the quarter-finals.
St Sebastian Union Club’s Levy Pereira scored a goal in the 10th minute.
Hanslum Furtado of Don Bosco Oratory was the Star of the match as he scored four goals for the team in the 35th, 46th, 52nd and 80th minutes, while for St Sebastian Union Club, Levy Pereira scored a goal.
Hanslem Furtado of Don Bosco Oratory was presented the man-of-the-match trophy from Charlie Louis.
