MAPUSA: Dempo SC thrashed Vasco SC 12-1 margin in the GFA’s boys U-15 Division I League match played at Poriat ground, on Wednesday.
Dempo SC struck six goals in each session of play. Vasu Redkar (4), Adrian Gomes (2), Atharva Rane (2), Urysse Fernandes, Declan Monterio, Kiann Araujo and Mark Pinto scored, while Kanhiya scored the consolation goal for Vasco SC lads.
In the next match, Guardian Angel SC humbled Cortalim Villagers 6-1. Roydon Noronha opened the Guardian Angel SC’s account in the very 5th minute of play. Prajyot Pilogaonkar netted four goals with Joarfy Fernandes adding his name to the scorer’s list. Arun Yadau scored the consolation goal for Cortalim Villagers.
