RAIA: Guardian Angel Sports Club, Curchorem, edged past Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, 2-1 in the final to emerge champions of the Martin’s Cup inter-village football tournament played at Betalbatim panchayat ground.
Mithun Fernandes and Norman Dias netted a goal each for Guardian Angel SC, while Sweton Rebello reduced the margin for Don Bosco Oratory.
GFA President Dr Caitano Fernandes was the chief guest and handed over the prizes in the presence of Carafina Pereira and other dignitaries. President Bonny Pereira welcomed the gathering, while Franky Rogtao proposed a vote of thanks.
