MARGAO: Guardian Angel Sports Club, Curchorem shunted out Ambelim Sports Club 7-6 via the sudden death and advance into the quarter-finals of 19th all-Goa Sao Jose de Areal Villagers Cup inter-village football tournament at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose de Areal, Tuesdasy. The teams were involved in a goalless draw at full time.
In the penalty shoot out, Allister Fernandes, Marcus D’Costa, Ligorino D’Silva, Socorro Colaco, Melvito Fernandes, Austin Fernandes were on target for Guardian Angel while Macroi Fernandes, Jayson Fernandes, Lyndon D’ Silva, Samson Fernandes, Joseph Pinto, Ralf Colaco converted for Ambelim.
