RAIA: Guirdolim Club stormed into the final of UCT Trophy inter-village football tournament organised by United Club of Telaulim by defeating Cuncolim Union, 5-1, played at Govt Primary School ground, Telaulim.
In the first half, Cuncolim Union were leading 1-0. The goal was scored by Jollyton Fernandes.
In the second half, Guirdolim came with new ideas. Joaquim Carvalho scored 3 goals in the 36th, 49th and 53th minute while the 4th and 5th goal was scored by Safuk Sheikh and Frazer Gomes.
Hayden Pereira of Guirdolim Club was awarded man-of-the-match at the hands of George Barretto.
