CUELIM-ARROSIM-CANSAULIM: Guirdolim SC blanked Parish Youth Nuvem 3-0 to enter into the quarter-finals of the 3 Kings trophy inter-village football tournament organised by CAC Cansaulim, at Dr T B Cunha complex, Cansaulim, on Wednesday.
Nuvem’s Niclau Colaco should have netted but the latter’s shot was palmed away to safety by Guirdolim keeper in the second minute.
Guirdolim’s Melvin Carvalho opened the score-line with a power-packed shot in the 12th minute.
As the match progressed, in the 45th minute, Safik Shaikh doubled the account for Guidolim. Richard made it 3-0 for Guirdolim in the 60th minute.
