PANJIM: Gujarat’s Kartavya Anadkat won the championship by scoring points out of 9 in the 1st Inner Wheel All India Open Online Blitz Chess tournament, organized by Inner Wheel Club of Sanvordem Curchorem & Vasco DA-Gama, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, on lichess platform, in 9 rounds in the blitz format of the Game.
Goans’ IM Ameya Audi finished on second position after defeating FM Nitish Belurkar who had to settle for third. Vivaan Ballikar finished on fourth position.
Harsha Pednekar was the tournament Director and IA Sanjay Kavlekar was the chief Arbiter of the tournament.
