GOGOL: Gunners FC got the better of MVB 7-3 in the Futsal tournament organised by Chowgule Sports Centre, played at Futsal Court of Chowgule Sports Centre, Gogol ,on Friday.
Gunners FC dominated the first ten minutes of the match as Daniel Pegado and Fenando Gaston tried to score but the rival keeper blocked their moves in the 6th and 10th minute respectively.
It was Fenando Gaston who netted a hat-trick for Gunners FC in the 8th, 10th and 12th minute respectively. Jair Manrigues netted a brace while Kenny Gonsalves and Dillon scored goals each in the 18th, 20th, 23rd and 26th minutes to make it 7-0 in the first half.
In the second half, MVB netted three quick goals which came from the boots of Amol Salgaocar, Valerio Rodrigues and Anthony Gonsalves in the 48th, 50th and 52nd minute.
In another match La Masia and Miranda Caterers match ended in a 5-5 draw.
