PANJIM: Harsh Mane and Ritika Chheluri were the stars of the final, winning a triple crown each, at the State Badminton Ranking Tournament organised by Shuttler Club, Morning Badminton Club and Sunny Sports Club in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and the Sports Authority of Goa and held at Indoor Stadium, Campal.
Harsh won the Sub Junior Boys Singles events in the U-15 and U-17 age groups, adding the U-15 Boys doubles title partnering his Margao compatriot Shaheen CK to his kitty.
Ritika emerged triumphant in the U-13 Girls singles, followed up by wins in theU-13 Girls Doubles partnering Sagun Singh and in the U-15 Girls Doubles partnering Minoshka Pereira.
Aarush Pawaskar, Sakshi K. Ashmeet Parsekar and Trisha Joshi put up clinical performances to win double crowns each. Aarush won the U-13 Boys singles and doubles titles.
In doubles, he was partnered by Shane D’ Souza. Sakshi K and Trisha Joshi teamed up to win the U- 17 Girls doubles title while Sakshi secured a win in U-17 Girls singles.
Ashmeet along with his partner Yash Desai won the U-17 Boys title and thereafter tasted success in U-17 Mixed doubles, partnering Trisha Joshi.
Among the other winners of the day were Ateendra Gaonkar who emerged winner in U-11 Boys singles, Avni Khyalia who won the U-11 Girls singles and Aarohi Coutoncar who secured victory in Girls U-15 singles.
Sanjeev Naik, Dy Mayor –CCP, Agnelo Da Cunha, former Sarpanch – Taleigao Panchayat, Richard De Souza (IFS) – Ex Principal Conservator of Forests, Luciano Soares, former State player, Narahar Thakur (GBA President) and Sandeep Heble (GBA Secretary) graced the closing function.
