PANJIM: Harsh Mane will clash with Yash Desai in U-13 boys singles final of the late Francis D’ Souza Memorial All Goa Sub-Junior (U-13/15) Major Ranking Badminton Tournament, organised by Mapusa Shuttlers, at Peddem Sports Complex.
Harsh Mane easily disposed of Vedant Chauhan 21-6, 21-14 in the U-13 boys singles semi-finals, while in the other semis, his Margao compatriot Yash Desai had to face a much tougher test in his 21-17, 21-10 win over Sarvadnya Khandeparkar.
In U-13 girls semis, top seed Sakshi Prakash was all business as she strolled past Synnovia D’Souza, winning 21-6, 21-13. The other semis between Jiya Kamat and Sriya Saraf was keenly contested with the former prevailing to a 21-18, 21-14 win.
