…have a ball of a time at Bosco’s Fatorda

FATORDA: It was 5 p.m. on the Monday evening as the Indian team arrived at the Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda along with Coach Matos and the support team amidst warm reception by the college students.

FATORDA: It was 5 p.m. on the Monday evening as the Indian team arrived at the Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda along with Coach Matos and the support team amidst warm reception by the college students.
The team led by Coach Luis Norton de Matos had an interactive session with the college students in their last formal visit to an institute in the State before flying to New Delhi to prepare for their Group A matches.
Coach Matos looked confident on his visit to the college wherein he addressed the students.
“Our plan is to give the best possible for the World Cup and India definitely can play a good game. Within these eight months we have worked hard to get best out of the players. We can surely build a good image,” Matos said while speaking to the students.
Further Matos said it a good competition and in future they could prepare and be the best and said, “This is India’s first step.”
“We prepare for success. Our players are intelligent and in future let this players give the best and quality to,” he added.
Earlier, Fr Kinley welcomed the team and wished the lad a bright future and also requested the players to believe in their selves ahead of the big ticket event.
Captain Amarjit Singh thanked for the institution for giving them the opportunity to have an interactive session and said, “We will give our best and 100% for India. It’s a great and a good opportunity for us to showcase our talent to the world stage,”
The students clicked selfies and had opportunities to take autographs from the budding stars.
One of the student said that it was an opportunity for the Goan players of this college and also the other students to interact with the Indian team and said, “We were quiet satisfied with the answers of the coach”.
