MARGAO: Hayston Dias’ brace helped Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim ground hosts Youth of Manora 2-0 to cruise into the quarter-finals of All-Goa Youth of Manora football tournament organized by Youth of Manora, at Manora ground, Raia, on Saturday.
After a barren first half, Cavelossim looked a transformed outfit and creating good moves.
Hayston broke the deadlock with a neat finish to give Cavelossim the lead and soon doubled his teams advantage.
John Fernandes of Youth of Manora was adjudged man-of-the-match.
