Arambol shot into the lead through the boots of Hemant Rodrigues, who on getting hold of the ball from Sandesh Sawant, slotted in the opener.
On resumption, Arambol doubled their lead through Hemant Rodrigues whose low grounder from inside the 18-yard box had no answer from the rival keeper.
Anant Gad further inflated the margin for Arambol five minutes later when on getting hold of the ball from Vivek Naik he weaved his way past the Saligao defenders and fired the ball home.
Saligao finally managed to find a consolation goal through Ajay Diwadkar whose header crashed into the Arambol nylons.
