TUEM: Holy Cross SC, Arambol stunned Sesa Footbal Academy by 2-0 margin in the GFA’s Third Division League – Bardez Zone, played at Tuem grounds on Tuesday.
Arambol cots scored a goal in each session of play. In the 21st minute, Stephelton Fernandes put his team ahead with a neat placement.
In the very 3rd minute on crossing over Gabriel Simoes scored a self goal to give Arambol two goal lead and the victory.
At Quitula grounds: Siddheshwar SC had an easy outing as they registered a fluent 3-1 win over BAFF. The teams went into the breather with Siddheshwar leading by 2-1 margin. Ravi Maulikar and Saiel Bhaimaikar scored for Siddheshwar while Umang Naik reduced the margin for BAFF.
On crossing over Saiel Bhaimaikar netted his brace and the third goal for his team, 3-1.
At Dramapur ground, Deao SC registered a fluent 4-0 win over Sirvodem SC. Deao scored the first in the 39th minute through Piason Dias as they led 1-0 at the break. In the second half, Deao doubled the score in the 68th minute through Norman Dias from the spot kick. Later Piason Dias and Ashwin Carvalho added two more goals to make it 4-0.
At Nagoa ground, Nayab Khan scored a fine treble to help United Sports Club, Seraulim down St Sebastian YC, Murida 5-1. Senatro Fernandes scored a brace for the winners while Edison Dias pulled a goal back for the losing side.
