MAPUSA: A brilliant hat-trick by Sylvester Dias enabled Holy Cross Arambol Sports Club to trounce Augustias SC, Pomburpa 4-0 and enter the semis of the 13th Reira Trophy inter-village football tournament, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, at Saligao Sporting Club ground, on Friday.
It was Sylvester who did most of the damage as he scored all his three goals in the first session.
On crossing over, Augustias did try to come back into the match with some attacking football but their opponents failed to give them any chance to score.
However in the 58th minute, Arambol netted in their fourth goal through Stapleton Fernandes, who completed the rout.
