Huge blow for young Princeton and Goa

The arrival of Juan Ferrando gave an opportunity for young Princeton Rebello. The youngster who joined the club at a young age in a bid to play top level football, finally got his regular first team experience this season and he impressed the coach and the team. But his season was marred with injuries. Having played one of his best game in this season against MCFC in the first leg, the youngster’s progress was halted following a dangerous tackle from Mourtada Fall. In the game, Princeton nearly scored his first ISL goal only to be blocked by his own teammate Igor Angulo in that match. Princeton played 17 games and recorded 46 passes with over 550+ touches.  He made an average of 27.47 passes, 30 tackles and 17 interceptions.

Reports claimed he dislocated his toe and his likely to miss upcoming games, but the youngster is among those who isn’t one to give up. It wouldn’t be long before we have the youngster back again in the side playing for Goa once again. Thanks to his determination, never say die attitude and hunger to play top level football.
