PANJIM: The All-Goa inter-schools sports quiz organized by SAG will be held on August 29 at lecture hall, New Central Library, Patto, here.
The area of focus will be the Lusofonia Games 2013, National Games 2014 to be held in Goa alongwith aspects of Goan, National and international sports.
The quiz will be conducted for secondary and higher secondary school students below the age of 17. The top contestants in the preliminary rounds will qualify for the finals which will be held on the same day.
Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000, Rs 5,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 will be awarded.
Entry forms will be available at the reception counters at SAG Office-Patto, Panjim; indoor stadium reception, Campal; Peddem swimming pool complex; PJNS Fatorda stadium; Ponda indoor stadium reception. Entry forms are also available on www.tsag.org. Entries may be submitted by August 23, by 3 p.m. to assistant secretary (programmes), 3rd floor, Myles High Building, Patto.

Meanwhile, SAG will also organize a sports photography competition.
The competition will be held in two categories — open category and students (V to XII standard)
Every participant can send a maximum of five photographs relating to the different sports events, activities or any other events which relates to sports in the State. The size will be 6 x 8 inches (in any format). For open category, participants shall attach photocopy of identity proof during the submission of entry and for school category participants, student’s identity proof or letter signed by the head of the school is necessary.
