PANJIM: IRBn defeated SDPO, 30-23, to clinch the 1st Inter unit/division Goa Police Women Kabaddi tournament 2023 organised by Goa Police Sports Cell at PHQ ground, Panjim, on Saturday. Jaspal Singh, IPS, DGP Goa was the chief guest, Neha Shailesh Gawas, chairperson of Late Sou Vasanti Vithu Gawas Charitable Trust, Old Goa was the guest of honour while Shailesh Gawas and DIG Bosco George were the special invitee.
Individual trophies: Best Raider – Mira of IRBn, Best Defender – Sonali of SDPO, Panjim, Best All-rounder – Ankita of IRBn and Oldest Player – Lalan Kandeparker.
Wilson D’Souza, DySP sports, welcomed the guests.
