WCM Ivana Furtado secured 4.5 points beating Biryukov Alice 1693 in the fifth round and WFM Rosales Pierina of Peru in the sixth round in U-12 girls at World Youth chess championship in Halkaidiki, Greece.
Riddi Zantye on 4.5 points drew with Adyasa Mahapatra of India in the fifth round and Badelko Olga of Bulgaria in the sixth round in U-8 girls.
WIM Bhakti Kulkarni, four points, beat WFM Le hoang Tran Chau 2082 of Vietnam in the fifth round and drew with Grigorian Marine 2178 of Russia in the sixth round in U-18 girls.
Riya Savant, on four points, drew with Valeva Ana of Bulgaria in the fifth round and Moses Selina of Germany in the sixth round in U-10 girls.
