PANJIM: Jayesh Chandrakant Naik has been nominated as a member of ‘Talent identification zonal committee’ for the west zone (weightlifting) of the Khelo India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
The states covered under west zone are Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Jayesh Naik is the General Secretary of Weightlifting Association of Goa, Joint Secretary of Indian Weightlifting Federation, Executive member of Goa Olympic Association.
He is also the National Category I referee.
