ARLEM RAIA: Jeronimo Colaco was been elected as the new president of Arlem Youth Association (AYA) for the third consecutive term, as the annual general body meeting and elections were held, at Arlem, Raia, recently.
The 18-members new committee for the year 2022-24 were elected unopposed.
Other members of the executive committee include: Vice-President: Marcos Gonsalves, general secretary: Seby Gaunkar, joint general secretary: Dwayne Fernanes, treasurer: Eusebio Colaco and joint-treasurer: Johnson Cardozo, Culture Secretary- Rosario Colaso, joint-cultural secretary: Alleluia Gauncar, sports secretary-Allwyn Dias, and joint-sports secretary: Francisco Pango.
Other executive members for cultural and sports wings include Floriano Fernandes, Franky Madredeous, Christopher D’Souza, Bush Cardozo, Valito D’Cruz, Jack Peter Dias, Sammy D’Souza and Oswald D’Souza.
The election proceedings were conducted by Christopher D’Souza.
