PANJIM: Joao Estrocio, Suman Patil, Sayed Zidane, Iqbal Shrungi, Bandekar, Yash Gaonkar, Anumati Chougule, Yashraj Chougule, Durva Mahale, Aman Sungar, Niranjani Borde were crowned the individual champions in their respective categories at 12th Annual Invitational Late Suhasini Ramesh Lotlikar swimming competition, organised by Lotlikar and Company, at SAG swimming pool complex Campal, Panjim, recently.
The meet comprised of 58 events for boys and girls in juniors, sub-juniors and toddlers categories.
Over 250 participants from Goa and neighbouring states –Karnataka and Maharashtra –took part and plenty of meet records were broken.
Khushank Parmar and Gatha Jain were the winners in toddler’s boys and girls category respectively.
Sanjana Prabhugaonkar was felicitated for winning a silver medal at UIPM biathle event held in Sarasota, USA.
The chief guest for the event was Advocate General of Goa, Saresh Lotlikar along with CCP Corporators Soraya Pinto, Uday Madkaikar, awarded medals and certificates to the winners.
Organizer of the swimming meet, CCP Corporator Rahul R Lotlikar delivered the vote of thanks.
